The weekend is here, and I’m winding down from a very hectic week of blogging. In this post, I want to touch base on “Life as a Blogger.”
Blogger Lifestyles can come off very glam in photos, but behind those images are countless hours of brainstorming, preparation, critiquing, and editing. Recently I’ve been catching up on some previous shoots from last month as well as this post from tonight, and I managed to get myself back on track with Blog Called Jacq. After this post, I am happy to say that I will wrap up the week with five posts. Hooray! Friyay! Now I know that may sound like the norm to most of you, but to any new blogger, we are aware this can be a very tedious, time-consuming, and at times very overwhelming to keep up with a five-day workload. I’ve spent the last six months launching site after site, staying up with YouTube, and messing around to all hours of the night with HTML coding. I know what you’re thinking “Nerd Alert,” but this is part of the game, and if you’re seriously thinking about getting into blogging make sure you’re ready for some intense learning, and discipline. So much goes into designing a website on top of that you have to take on branding and marketing. These topics are a whole other subject to blog about, but I promise to tackle some do’s and don’ts in the future on getting started on a blog. But for now, I just wanted to let you in on a little bit of what’s been happening with me.
I’m very happy with where I am to date. It’s been a successful month, and a great week for work. I’m back on a WordPress site running a great template by Solo Pine. If you’re in the market for a new layout I would highly recommend any blogger taking a peek at what they have in store. You can find my exact “Redwood” template at Solo Pine online direct link here.
Hope you enjoyed this post, and this week on BCJ.
-Wishing any new bloggers who read over this post all the best, and remember just breathe things only get easier. I promise.
